When he appears to them in the 24th chapter of Luke, they are struggling to understand what their senses are telling them. Jesus's unique response to his disciples' questions and doubts offers modern-day Christ-followers a hopeful representation of our own faith journey as Jesus meets us where we are and guides us through our ups and downs.
